One book that I was sad to finish was “The Fellowship” by Phillip and Carol Zaleski. It let me hang out with the Inklings every day and could have been twice as long!
The biggest ache is when you're done but longing for the story to continue. It could. There's always more story. But finishing is forcing you to accept that it's over, whether you like it or not

I’ve not read it yet! But it’s now on my TBR 🤭
It’s a great listen if you like audiobooks! In my mind, the story of Lewis and Tolkien’s friendship is on par with the stories they wrote 🧡
hi Allie, this was so tender and beautifully written,
you captured that quiet ache so well,
the kind that lingers long after the last page,
rereading as an act of love really stayed with me,
thank you for sharing this,
in quiet strength and sound,
Afterforever ✨🎵
I'm so glad you enjoyed this <3 and that I'm not the only one that has that lingering feeling long after finishing the last page.
Allie, definitely not the only one,
that ache is the tender echo of something meaningful,
so glad our words found each other here,
in quiet strength and sound,
Afterforever ✨🎵

couldn't agree more!!
Just finished “The Berlin Project” by my man, Gregory Benford. Cry cry cry!!!! 😭 Loved it so much.
Now I use atomic bomb metaphors and uranium enrichment metaphors in my everyday life.
How tough it is to separate the U-235 from the U-238!
History hinges on this difficulty.
Can’t wait to get another ARMFUL of Benford books from the library. He NEVER disappoints!
I’ve never heard of this book!! Sounds like one that will leave a lasting impact 🥰☺️
