I love the two minute tidy tip and have I found I enjoy it even more when rather than setting a timer, I press play on a fun, upbeat song. It’s the perfect amount of time and makes it feel fun!

Yes that’s a great idea! Just tidy until the song stops 🎧🎶

I use the Amelia timer which cheers me on when I complete simple tasks. It’s often the encouragement I need to get things done.

Love this, Allie! I've noticed too how it's the little things that can really make the difference. This very week I set myself the task each morning of identifying one thing that could make my day that day, then I made sure I did it. I've just written about it, and would love to hear your thoughts: https://substack.com/home/post/p-164413875

Thank you, it’s was a total game changer! Would you be up for a week of setting a daily intention in the morning? No matter how big or how small…🌿

“…leftovers without guilt”

That one… once I took away the guilt. Those nights I want to clear our fridge and waste less felt rewarding and made room for a clear guilt free mind to make dinner the next day

These are amazing tips! I personally always feel like if I have to do something completely or perfectly it causes so much more anxiety than when I tell myself it only has to be a little thing.

One of the reasons why I ditched my iPhone is that I couldn't figure out how it calculated screen time. I turn my phone off at 9:30 and leave it in anther room. I would close all apps, put on flight mode, and turn off. Yet night after night my phone registered me as being on my phone 24/7. Sharing this in case anyone knows why 😆

That’s so strange! I do feel that sometimes my screen time feels either way too high or way too low 😢 but ditching your phone in another room sounds like a great idea!!

Same here. It is wildly inaccurate.
